Tis the season to layer!
Typically when we refer to layering we consider a jacket or a sweater over a shirt of choice.
This time, the new trend and focus is on the "Vintage Printed Wrap Skirt".
It's versatile, universal, and provides an edge.
You can pair this with a denim jean, leggings, a flared leg as featured, and more. This layered look has no limit.
Begin building the look.
Have fun when styling your skirt, mix up prints on prints, incorporate other textures and explore!
The key is to wrap it so you create an opening and make a split.
Tie a knot or bow wherever it feel's comfortable.
The split serves as both an entrance and gateway to a sophisticated look. Whether wearing heels or flats, jeans or pants...the split elevates the style towards a more feminine aesthetic.
This type of blending when layering is what makes the Fall Season so special!
You'll notice I paired the wrap skirt, with a pair of bell-bottom pants. Another trend, I'll touch on soon throughout the season.
What makes this skirt dope, is that it's one size that fit's most!
You can wear it directly on the hips, however I recommend wrapping the skirt a bit higher, to create the high-waisted style.
And finally add your favorite jacket moto-jacket and vintage graphic t-shirt for a reference look!
In case you want to follow our DIY trend from the previous post...
***find any fabric of choice that you like,
cut as long as you need to fit around your waist and then cut the ties alongside the edges of the skirt in order to create the knot.***
